WE OFFER FREE REPEAT MATINGS

Not all stud services will offer a free repeat mating if the mating fails to produce kittens. If you are investigating using other stud services make sure that you ask the stud owner whether their contract allows for unlimited repeat matings. It has become rare that stud owners do not offer repeat matings, but it does still happen. Do bear in mind the distance you have to travel when considering stud services. Calling queens can be knocked off call if subjected to stressful journeys in the car, and you may be wasting your money if your stud service does not offer repeats. Keep it local unless your stud service offers repeat matings.

Dollycats offers free repeat matings. Should matings fail we will revist the situation after the third mating and discuss alternative arrangements (including continuing with the stud service). A partial refund may be given (with some allowance for the time the stud has been 'out of action' and food), or we will come to another arrangement with you that is mutually agreeable. We have not yet had a failed mating at Dollycats, but we want to be prepared if it happens. All of the studs that are offered for public stud are proven studs and have sired litters of kittens

HOW OUR STUD SESSIONS WORK

You will bring your queen into us and we will check your paperwork to make sure that the queen is fit and well. We can only accept queens that have been tested for diseases during the 24 hour period leading up to her stay with us. She must be a registered Bengal and you must be allowed to breed from her

Our main living area overlooks our cats and it is possible to see much of what is going on - whether we like it or not! We can usually supervise matings from our conservatory window. We offer three supervised mating periods in one 24 hour period - and leave the stud and queen to do whatever else is necessary.

Queens usually stay with us for around a week, but we monitor her progress and will remove the queen from the stud if we believe he is being over-enthusiastic.

We are happy to email photographs of your queen to you throughout her stay at Dollycats.

When you come to collect your queen you will leave here with a contract, a GCCF compliant mating certificate and a pedigree for our stud. Pricing starts at £500 but does vary from stud to stud. Please note that no males can be registered on the active register from our matings.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Remember to have a letter from your vet confirming that your queen is clear of FeLV and FIV.
