30th
November: We have available two
silver spotty Bengal girls from Ripley. They are still a
little young for photographs and visitors but pictures will
be posted as soon as they're ready.
Do
contact us soon to let us know if you are interested in
these babies as we only have two at the moment. We do however
have a pregnancy announcement. Please scroll to the bottom
of the page for more details!
Later:
Just updated the Testimonials page with another satisfied
customer.

21st
November: Still no sign of kittens
from Ripley. Our British Fighter Squadron are going hom
this weekend so I've taken their 'going home' pictures,
which you can see at the bottom of this page.
To
check the availability of kittens you will need to call
us on 01202 880093 over the next week as this site will
not be updated during that time.

19th
November: No kittens from Ripley
yet. The Savannah cat site is still under construction but
once it has been finished we will of course publish the
link here. Speaking of Savannahs, one of us will be flying
out to the USA to meet with the breeder of our Savannah
queens and studs some time over the next ten days, so if
the site goes quiet for a while that will be why. The site
has been updated with new pictures - so check Python's
page , Ripley has some new pictures to replace the year
old picture on the Queen's page.
The other updates are for people that have already reserved
their kittens so are on private pages. ;-)
Later:
Hot Toddy has now been reserved by a nice couple from Guernsey
and will be going to live on the island in the New Year.
Just one kitten left ready to start your New Year off in
the purrfect way - Tipsy Laird.

18th
November: Still no news from Ripley
- she's due between tomorrow and Wednesday. Hurricane has
been reserved by a nice couple from up near Birmingham.
Still working on the pictures from yesterday's show, so
I will be updating this page again soon.

17th
November: EXCELLENT day at the
Supreme Cat Show today - but more about that tomorrow when
we have the photographs uploaded.
We
have created a 'Hall of Shame' feature for the website.
Thankfully it's small for the Bengals, with only one email
worthy of a mention.
We
are in the middle of building our new Savannah site - the
'Hall of Shame' promises to be a lot bigger over there!

16th
November: Busy, busy, busy! Cats,
moving house, cat shows, kids.
But
today I've taken time out to update our website - no pictures
unfortunately, but so far I've updated our Savannahs kittens
page, and I'm going to create an 'about us' page if I can
make it interesting enough to be worthwhile.
We
are no longer taking waiting list reservations for our Savannahs
without an accompanying deposit as we need to sort the wheat
from the chaff (so to speak).
Our
Savannahs are provided and backed by Martin and Kathrin
Stucki of A1 Savannahs. We rely on his expertise and hand
holding and we are proud to backed by the best and have
put our trust utterly in the hands of our suppliers.
Later:
Uploaded more photos.

13th
November: More pictures - this
time of Hurricane. I've added some photographs of Miss Python
on the Queen's page too.

12th
November: Thumper has now been
reserved. She'll be going off to live in the New Forest
with a bunch of other cats, dogs, chickens and goats!
We
have no more girls here at Dollycats, though I can still
take enquiries for pet girls - a friend of mine has one
available. And of course you can be placed on a waiting
list for a Dollycat - our next litter is due in just nine
days time!
Later:
New pictures of Tipsy added.

11th
November: Just updated the testimonials
page again. Not much cat news to report. Phone and email
have gone mad for Hurricane, but no takers yet.

10th
November: Just taken some photographs
of the Scottish Food boys. This time not posed, but watching
television with us in the living room. The Scottish Foods
litter are now out of their pens and having a fine old time
of it in our living room, running on their recently acquired
running legs. We still have two boys for pet and one girl
for breeding available from this litter

9th
November: Almost going home time for another one of
our litters. So as I can catch them and pose them, so I'll
be adding them to the 'Going Home' section on this page.
Later:
Whim Wham has now been reserved and will be going to live
in Devon in January.

8th
November: I've been experiementing
with video and I've added a couple of videos of Miss Python
to our Bengal videos page.
The object is to replace the youtube videos with our own.
The ones I took are a little dull, and just an excuse for
me to try out embedding video.
Viewing
of the three boys from the January litter is being held
off until Saturday afternoon as we have two couples coming
to see them over the weekend, which is nice. Hurricane is
still available, but getting some interest. Once seen in
the flesh I have no doubt that he will steal someone's heart.
We
are now taking advanced booking for Ripley's kittens. She
is a big cat and six weeks pregnant. Not showing much at
all. I don't know whether this means she could have just
as many kittens as the others but is big enough to carry
them more discretely, or whether she just isn't having many.
Assuming all goes well, her kittens will be ready to go
home at the end of February. There's a possibility that
we may have much coveted silvers, so email us if you are
interested.

7th
November: Firelfy has been reserved
by a nice couple from Wales so we only have boys available
as pets now. If you're looking for a breeding girl then
Rumbledethumps
is still available at the moment.

5th
November: Testimonials page has
been updated with a new email from a pleased owner.
Fireworks
night tonight - though you wouldn't know it by the number
of fireworks people have been letting off near our house
over the last week or two! Don't forget to keep your pets
indoors tonight. We've moved most of our cats inside and
check our outside residents regularly. They don't appear
to be that worried about it. In fact Cally rushes outside
her house when one of those spitting fireworks goes up.
Presumably to ward off the 'cat' that has suddenly appeared
in the sky.

4th
November: New pictures! And I've
added a 'gallery' page for photos that don't seem to go
anywhere else. Bless his little cotton socks, Hurricane
was half asleep when I picked him up for his photos, so
I did manage to get some nice ones of him. Some visitors
who came to see their reserved cat commented on Hurricane's
great temperament and instant purr, so someone is going
to get a really nice little boy with him. He's probably
the chunkiest kitten out of Joy's litter, so perhaps 'little'
is the wrong way to describe him.
Do
make sure you go and see him on the gallery
page. He has won November 2007's title of 'Silliest Cat'.
If you look at his photo you will see why.

3rd
November: We've booked the Fighter
Planes in for their final injection - that's happening on
Tuesday. They've now moved out of their kittening pen and
into the middle room with my older daughter. This allows
them to spend more time socialising with strangers (my daughter
often has people in the house), and other cats. The middle
room is where we keep our feline 'teenagers' as well as
our human one. Currently inhabiting the 'teenagers' room
(shortly to become 'the commune' but more about that later)
are; Flower, Joy, Python, Nell, Rapunzel and Esme with Valentina
(our Russian Blue) spending her time between the middle
room and our long room (where her kittens are). So, with
the five kittens that makes 12 cats. They also have access
to the upstairs - Python has learnt how to open the door
to my daughter's large bedroom, so they can get in there
too.
I
didn't get round to photographing the cats yesterday - my
apologies. I will attempt to get it done this weekend.

2nd
November: So much for Pru and
Thriller having a platonic relationship. They were caught
'at it' yesterday - so perhaps some New Year babies?!
If
I get time I will be taking more photographs of the available
babies today. I have also got a site more or less up and
running for our Selkirk Rex and British Shorthair breeding
programme but it's not quite there, so no link yet.
Search
engine traffic has gone berserk for Savannah cats and that's
where we're getting our hits at the moment. Such a shame
we don't have any cats inhouse to offer our visitors - however
a friend of mine in London is taking delivery of her cats
starting from February 2008 which means that she may have
kittens available to go home around July/August 2008, and
ready for booking in April/May.
So
if you want Savannah cats from London, ready to book in
April, contact me and I'll put you on a waiting list for
my friend. (If by some miracle my cats turn up earlier then
I will be able to help you direct).
THE
SCOURGE OF THE BABY CAT BISCUITS
It
all started on October 27th 2007. As I was sitting at the
bar in the Bracknell Leisure Centre waiting for show results
(drinks were for medicinal purposes you understand), my
husband noticed a tiny lump under my t-shirt - on my back.
On examination he found a Royal Canin Baby Cat biscuit -
flattened and a bit worse for wear.
Then
yesterday morning, November 1st 2007, as we were chatting
before the day began we found ... in the middle of the bed
.... another baby cat biscuit.
Both
times it was a single, solitary baby cat biscuit. No sign
of its friends.. Spooky..
What's
going on????
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ps.
I must add that showers were taken before the biscuits were
spotted both times. And NO it was not the same biscuit!
Later:
A while back my husband mentioned that he thought my news
box was getting a bit big, so I have started a new site
for my breeding ramblings - where I will talk about our
day to day running of a catty household and bitch about
the price of beef, what the weather is like etc. The name?
Well of course it's Belle
de Chat...
Later
still: Whilst vacuuming our bedroom I found lots of
Baby Cat biscuits. But in a rather sinister twist, I found
a lone Baby Cat biscuit by the bookshelf next to my side
of the bed...
